Charlotte graduated from St Mary’s Hospital medical school in London, and completed her specialist training In Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the northwest London region. She spent an additional two years working in Sydney, Australia as well as a year developing her knowledge of high-risk obstetrics, as a clinical fellow in maternal medicine.

Charlotte was appointed as the lead consultant for the labour ward and maternity governance at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in 2012.

She has a diploma in Clinical Risk Management and Claims from Capsticks law firm and in 2022 was appointed as the Clinical Director for Patient Safety for Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust.

Throughout her career, Charlotte has always been focused on improving safety for mothers and babies. 

Charlotte’s other passion is supporting women who are dealing with mental health challenges. Charlotte is the clinical lead for the perinatal mental health service at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and has a specialist interest in trauma informed care in childbirth. Her compassionate style and attention to detail will mean you are in the safest and kindest hands.

Charlotte is also the Service Director for the Kensington Wing Hospital. She works with the midwifery and management teams to ensure governance and safety principles are maintained in all aspects of private care.
